All of that time spent away, sailing on a concrete wave
So young and naive, living out our boyish dreams
Of popularity, education kept at sea
Or so it seemed until we tapped that artery

All of those nights spent in bars, playing til we fell apart
While we spilled and sparred, they weren't a waste, god bless your hearts

This is my ode to, a time where our souls flew
A time where I thought I might just do anything for you,

Adults and kids, Egos and ids
Carry me slowly home again to where it all begins

All of that power and pain, coming down just like the rain
So cold and sustained, living life circling the drain,
But now I see, there's a spark inside of me
With no reprieve, someone put a spell on me

All of those days in the pits, down down deep and desperate,
I dreamed of the mist rolling in over the cliff
Like a curtain call, a grey, numb, silent "fuck it all"
I screamed down those halls, Zurich lakes to Berlin walls

This is my ode to the time I came unglued,
A time where I thought I might just do anything to lose
